“ The food was unexpectedly freaking stunning. Possibly the best Thai I’ve ever had. The waitress was clueless but that’s ok I guess? Good service requires training. It was enough gif me that the chef clearly knew what he was doing, sheesh ”
“ Always had takeway from here.. one thing to say is QUALITY veg and ingredients! The best Thai in Blue Mountains so fae! ”
“ Atmosphere is quite nice and cosy. Service was a little negligent in that they weren't really paying attention to us calling them. But.... The food was really good. The eggplant chips (recommended by everyone else online) was in fact the best entree. The satay sauce had the perfect consistency and peanut flavour. Curry puffs were the usual great flavour. In the main courses both pad kee maos had the correct level of chilli. And the rice had so much more flavour than regular fried rice I've had in the past. Would definitely recommend!! ”
“ Awesome restaurant awesome food I’m a regular here. Just a let down tonight as they have different unfriendly and unprofessional people answering phone and serving front. Usually always greeted by young friendly girl but tonight was an unpleasant lady didn’t even want to talk just completely rude. ”
“ Tasty food and friendly service . We had crab-fried rice and Crispy Pork with basil. Both dish were full of flavour and really tasty . Curry puffs had beans and corn and we loved it . Fried ice creamwas really good. Place was quite, clean and food was serve on time. ”
“ Maprang Thai cuisine delivers delicious food. The food portions are very generous. We shared the fish cakes and barramundi choo chee. It’s not licensed so you’ll need to enquire about BYO alcohol. The venue is small and very basic. This place does a roaring takeaway trade. If this restaurant was set in a beautiful space, it truly would be a wonderful dining experience. ”
“ Cosy little restaurant that serves a good spread of Asian and some select Thai dishes. The menu located outside beside the front door is old. The one inside on the tables have more accurate prices. Menu is a little spartan but eh, it gets the job done. See pictures for the details. The portions here are huge! It almost felt like it was meant for 2 persons. Maybe it’s just me having a small appetite as an Asian but I did struggle just a tiny bit to finish the entire plate. Because of this I definitely felt the price was justified. I got the pad thai and it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted in Australia yet. Taste is a little different from Bangkok but it was still flavourful. I got chicken for my protein needs but I felt it was overcooked, a bit dry and chewy. Basil fried rice was nicely spiced for my taste. I do take quite spicy foods regularly so I think not everyone can take the spice, so beware. Crab meat fried rice was good for the first few bites. But the flavour fatigue will start to kick in really soon after a few spoonfuls. Same goes for the pineapple fried rice. I do feel the cashew nuts add a nice crunch to the dish. Didn’t try the Singaporean noodles and laksa. Laksa is a popular dish in my country so unfortunately I can’t give a review. Overall I would recommend this place. Good restaurant with food that reminds me of home. ”
“ We came by for a spur of the moment date night! And by the gods, we were surprised! The Quaint little Thai shop had a never ending stream of customers the how time we were waiting for our meal! The staff are kind and courteous and were apologetic when delayed due to the number of customers they had to work through! We enjoys some Satay skewers and crab spring rolls as our entrees and boy were we surprised, the chicken was cooked perfectly but still moist with the best satay peanut sauce I've had so far! The flavour was divine, the crab spring rolls were light and cru chy with the right balance of fillings! For our mains we ordered the Pad thai, Panang Curry and the Thai curry Crab! And boy were we in for a surprise! The pad thai came with freshly crushed peanuts and flavour packing sauce, the noodles were not over cooked and the protien portion was well sized! The Panang Curry was my Partners favourite! The sauce, the veggies all mixed up with rice was amazing! A definate must have if your in the mood for a Curry! The coconut sauce was spectacular! What stole the show for my was the Thai crab Curry! Soft shell crab cooked perfectly with a amazing sauce and crunchy veg! We polished this off before before we even knew it! A Hidden diamond of the mountains and the best Thai food of the mountains! ”
